It finally happened! It took a while but we cracked down and created a new website for Pelican House Productions! It could be neat! It could be fun!
So head on over to: www.PelicanHouseProductions.com and check out what we have been working on!
More projects coming soon :)
I just recently dug up this video I directed at the end of 2009. The band is called Divide the Day, and I believe it was supposed to be the WWE theme song. It’s a simple video, but still a little neat?

A fun little commercial I directed for The Great PNW! Check out their website to see some of their neat clothes!
General Education is now available on Netflix instant streaming! It also appears the Cave Girl is on there too, but I had nothing to do with that :)
I am getting set to leave for Iowa to screen General Education at Grinnell College. This might be my first trip there so I am excited to see what happens. GE is also set to be apart of the first Youngstown Film Festival, happening this weekend.
Here is a neat article about the festival from the Youngstown Vindicator: NEAT ARTICLE!
General Education on the shelf to rent at Blockbuster! Excite Bike 98!
General Education Blu-Ray on the shelf at Fry’s Electronics!
For the past three weeks I have been living away from my home in Los Angeles, and staying in Oxnard, California writing with my partner Jaz. We are working on the screenplay for Truck World, which is set to be the next Pelican House Production (hopefully). We have been in a pretty solid routine of writing, swimming, reading, riding bikes, eating, and watching movies. I am really excited about this new draft of the script, and can’t wait to make it into a film!
Before moving up to Oxnard to write, I was traveling for the release of General Education for about one month, sometimes with PHP and sometimes alone. The film opened in twelve theaters across the country and we tried to have someone in each area promoting the release. I got to spend time in New York City, Youngstown, Ohio, Columbus, Ohio, Tucson, Arizona, and Seattle, Washington. It was awesome getting to be in each location, meet new people and experience the film with different audiences.
General Education will be releasing tomorrow (October 2nd) on DVD and Blu-Ray, and will be available on more Video on Demand platforms, as well as, for sale on Apple iTunes. For some reason the DVD/Blu-ray release is the most exciting, so if you are reading this and like movies you should go check it out, and maybe tell a friend or family member to go check it out too! Pretty soon I will be heading out to Iowa and Arizona to do some more screenings of GE.
Then, I will be changing gears and heading up to San Francisco for the Dew Tour! My friend/pro bike rider, Nick Bruce, will be competing there in the BMX Dirt finals. You can check out some of his magic here!
General Education hits DVD/Blu-Ray next Tuesday, Oct. 2nd! It is available now for Pre-Order through Amazon.com and will be in multiple stores and rental services across the country :)
General Education is half way through it’s theatrical release and it has been quite the experience so far! We opened August 24th in New York City, as well as Apple iTunes and On Demand through various providers. So far I have spent time in New York City, Youngstown, Ohio, and I am about to travel down to Columbus, Ohio before heading off to Arizona and Seattle. The film has been met with mixed reviews from Critics and mostly positive reviews from audiences across the country :)
You can join the conversation today, and check out General Education on Apple iTunes, On Demand, or a theater near you! Visit www.GeneralEducationMovie.com for a full theater list.
